Lochlands Moonlight Serenade

Foaled May 2004.

Sire: Chapelhill Hamish (Glensuie x Jilldene).

Dam: Lochlands Mandolin (Woodcock of Whitefield x Lochlands Madrigal).

Moonlight has a lovely temperament and has been friendly since the day she was born. She has been to five shows in 2005, and has been well placed on each occasion, having 2 firsts, a 2nd, a 3rd and 6th at The Royal Highland.

Unfortunately Moonlight sustained an injury in May 2006, so she has been confined to home pastures and had no outings this year. Thankfully she has recovered now and grown on well through the summer. She will three in spring 2007, and we will most likely put her in foal.

2007: Moonlight is scanned in foal to 'Sass' and is due early April 2008.

2008: Moonlight had a lovely yellow dun colt foal in April. She was an excellent mother and made a great job of raising her first foal.

Moon River has been sold and is now settled in his new home in Buckinghamshire, we wish his new owner well and look forward to following his progress.
