Doing what they do best.................eating !

Above Lochlands Highland Ponies practising their favourite pastime ........... eating !

Arbroath like most places has seen a covering of snow this week, thankfully not as much as many other areas have seen, but still enough to be a nuisance. It looks scenic but I would be happy for it to go away after a few days. The ponies are all fine though, eating plenty of hay, but that is only to be expected in this weather.

8th November

The ponies are all well, coats getting thick and fluffy now as we head towards winter.

Gypsy Barron has been weaned and left for his new home in Lancashire last week. We wish Tracey all the best with him and look forward to following his progress. Lovely to hear that he travelled well and has settled straight into to his new home and is doing well.

The ponies will be moved onto their winter stubble quarters within the next two weeks. I will update with some pictures then, hopefully we will get a dry day to get the camera out.

Today we said goodbye to Lochlands Mandora, we will miss her as she is a pony with a lovely personality, but we are delighted that she is on her way to a lovely new home in Ross-Shire. We wish her new owners well and look forward to hearing news of Dora's progress.
